Kashmir Welfare Foundation supports reforestation efforts by planting trees, organising tree planting campaigns, and collaborating with local communities and authorities to restore degraded forests and protect biodiversity. We are one of few research based charities working in Kashmir at this moment in time with a broader view of Kashmir’s growth and development.
Individuals can contribute to the Green Kashmir Project by participating in tree planting events, volunteering for cleanup drives, adopting eco-friendly practices in their daily lives, and supporting fundraising efforts for environmental conservation initiatives.
The Green Kashmir Project has made significant strides in improving environmental conditions and enhancing the resilience of local communities to climate change impacts. Through reforestation, water conservation, and waste management efforts, the project has contributed to biodiversity conservation, mitigating natural disasters, and promoting sustainable livelihoods in Kashmir.
