Our Story
The Kashmir Welfare Foundation embarked on its mission with a deep commitment to alleviating poverty and enhancing living standards, with a special emphasis on adult and youth education in Technology and Web3, in Azad Kashmir.
This noble initiative was spearheaded by a dedicated group of British Kashmiris, united by a common vision to effect positive change. Their goal extends beyond immediate relief; they aspire to champion sustainable development projects that not only elevate the global presence of Kashmir but also boost its economic output. Through these efforts, Kashmir Welfare Foundation aims to empower individuals and communities, catalysing a transformative journey out of poverty and towards a brighter, self-sufficient future.
In a landscape abundant with charitable efforts, we have discerned a prevalent challenge: the widespread distribution of resources across a vast geographic expanse, impeding the potential for long-term, sustainable impacts on the communities they aim to serve. To surmount this challenge, our innovative strategy is meticulously crafted to connect with families at the grassroots level.

Our Purpose
Kashmir is the home of one of the worlds oldest unresolved conflicts. Political instability in the region and lack of direction or vision has curtailed its growth and limited its ability to thrive. In the midst of these concerns, the people have Kashmir have suffered significantly due to ever increasing cost of living, weak education system and non-existent health services, all of which should form a core part of any community.
Through comprehensive measures encompassing education, vocational training, and entrepreneurship initiatives, our objective is to disrupt the cycle of dependence on charitable donations and cultivate lasting, positive transformations in the lives of those we seek to assist.

The region of Kashmir is often described as heaven on earth. The Northern areas are full with lush green valleys, snow-capped mountains, beautiful lakes, historic and culture sites and picturesque landscapes that evoke a sense of paradise.
But behind all this beauty hides many stories of poverty and deprivation caused by the lack of economical activity, inadequate health services and an unsuitable education system.
The government has introduced a number of initiatives to tackle some of these concerns, but due to the lack of resources, progress is extremely slow, leaving many families still suffering in the process.
