Quick Response to Floods
In recent years, flooding has become a major concern for people in Azad Kashmir. The heavier-than-usual monsoon rains lead to heightened river levels and widespread flooding, while the accelerated melting of glaciers contribute to increased water flow.
In times of crisis like this, our team is fully prepared and equipped to offer assistance, providing vital food, water, and temporary shelter.
Reduce your carbon footprint!
Although we cannot abruptly halt global warming, we possess the ability to mitigate its impact by slowing the rate and limiting the extent of temperature rise. Key to this effort is a concerted reduction in human emissions of heat-trapping gases and soot.
Reversing Climate ChangeGreen Kashmir ProjectEarthquakes in Kashmir
Kashmir is situated within the tumultuous zone of collision between the Eurasian and Indian tectonic plates. The geological consequences of this intense collision, instrumental in the formation of the majestic Himalayan mountain range, contribute to the region’s seismic instability.
Our team is able to assist affectees by moving them to a safer location, providing food, water and temporary shelter to ease their pain whilst emergency services carry out their activities.
Prepared in Advance!
While it is impossible to accurately predict when a crisis or disaster may occur, advancements in climate science are paving the way to enhance preparedness. That’s why it’s crucial to assist communities at risk in becoming more resilient in advance.
Our emergency response teams play a vital role in helping communities prepare beforehand, increasing their chances of survival and mitigating the impact of a crisis.
Active Response
Our response to an event is adaptable and varies based on the nature of the emergency and the emerging needs. We possess the capability to establish small tent villages, ensuring shelter, and arrange for food and water supplies for those affected, alongside providing essential emergency services depending on the requirements and needs of the community.
Furthermore, our organisation has the capacity to deploy specialist medical teams, establish medical camps, and set up urgent treatment centers.
