We prioritise widows, orphan-led households, and families without a stable income. These are the most vulnerable groups in Kashmir who lack financial security and need support to become self-sufficient.
We support small, practical businesses such as sewing work, food stalls, village shops, repair services, and transport solutions like rickshaws. Each project is tailored to the family’s skills and local demand.
Support ranges from £60 for a sewing machine to £2,500 for a rickshaw or loader. Each option provides a different level of income opportunity, but all aim to create long-term financial independence for the family.
