Meet Aisha, a young girl from a remote village in Kashmir. Aisha’s family struggled to make ends meet, and education seemed like an unattainable dream. But thanks to the scholarships provided by the Kashmir Welfare Foundation, Aisha was able to pursue her studies and break free from the cycle of poverty.

Healthcare for All: Saving Lives, One Step at a Time
In remote areas of Kashmir, access to healthcare is limited. Many families struggle to afford even basic medical treatments. That’s where the Kashmir Welfare Foundation stepped in, establishing medical camps and providing free healthcare services to those in need.
Meet Abdul, a farmer who suffered from a life-threatening illness. With no means to afford treatment, his condition worsened by the day. But thanks to the medical camp organised by the Kashmir Welfare Foundation, Abdul received the care he desperately needed. Today, he is healthy, back on his feet, and forever grateful for your support.
Empowering Women: Breaking Barriers, Inspiring Change
In a society where gender inequality is prevalent, the Kashmir Welfare Foundation has been working tirelessly to empower women and break down barriers. Through vocational training programs and microfinance initiatives, we have helped countless women become financially independent and gain the confidence to pursue their dreams.
Meet Sana, a young entrepreneur who started her own business with the help of a microloan from the Kashmir Welfare Foundation. Today, she runs a successful bakery, providing for her family and inspiring other women in her community to follow their passions. Her bakery has become very popular among tourists visiting the northern area of Kashmir and has even featured in many vlogs.
For over 20 years of her life, Sana alongside her family were eligible to receive Zakat, however, your donations have now put her in a position to give Zakat. This Ramadhan, Sana has pledged all her donations to Kashmir Welfare Foundation to help other woman in a similar position find a way out of poverty.
